In keeping with our vintage tradition, this month we're featuring the Roy Haynes stick circa 1960's. Roy's 7A measures 15 1/4"  and is .50 diameter. (If you were to say the diameter and taper were remarkably close to our Birdland, you might have a point. Or, err... tip ).

Roy's stick did thicken up through the later years, but kept close to the original 15 1/4 length. His Zildjian model is slightly longer but still has a nice taper.
